Facebook Thumbnails

When I shared my most recent post to Facebook, there was no thumbnail when it appeared in the Facebook timeline or on my homepage. In previous posts, the thumbnail was either the header or an image imbedded in the post. How can I select thumbnails when sharing a post on Facebook?

Hi there – Facebook has made some changes on their end, and we don’t have control over which image they show.
They should show an image in the post itself, or your blavatar or gravatar. You can try uploading larger images to your posts (Facebook ignores images under 200×200). You can also try setting a featured image; ideally, Facebook should look for a featured image before it looks for anything else, but again, sometimes it doesn’t:
