facebook trouble

  Hi – I’m using the facebook widget and under it it now says “Could not retrieve id for the specified page. Please verify correct href was passed in.”

  Can anyone help me sort this out?

  i too have had a few probs with it.
  one for example was that i was also logged into fb BUT using it as a page (rather than as me).

  anyway the solution was to put in a different but valid fb address and then save. then put back in the correct one. that worked for me

  Hi,

  I have been using WP for a few months with no problem until now.

  My blog is connected to my FaceBook page and each time I publish a blog, it goes straight to Twitter and FB. Okay, no prob…

  Today, I get this message:

  To enable Publicize: Facebook, you will need to authorize your WordPress.com account on Author Lisa V. Proulx to connect with your Facebook account.

  Click the link below to go to Facebook. You will need to log in and click allow. Facebook Page accounts must have a corresponding Profile at this time.

  Authorize connection with Facebook

  When I click on the link, a message comes up at the top of the page that I have successfully linked my blog to my FB page. But I am NOT directed to FB nor is there a spot to log in.

  But…on the side where it says Twitter, the FB square is gone and it has not shown up on my FB page.

  Can anyone help?

  @lisavproulx: Have you tried following the reconnecting procedure to the letter?

  Thanks for all the comments and help, but I’ve tried all that has been suggested and it is still saying about the href – ????

  @aclutton: The Facebook Like Box Widget says that it’s only for Fan Pages. You are adding a Fan Page, right, and not a personal profile or a group?
