Facebook, Twitter buttons position
-
I have somehow forgotten where to find the option to show or hide the Sharing buttons . . . Facebook, Twitter, and the like. At the moment, they’re showing up at the top of one page and the bottom of another. I’d like them to be at the bottom of any page where they appear. Would also like to know how to turn them off entirely.
Thanks in advance.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I’m currently seeing them only at the bottom of your posts. Can you please let me know on which post or page are you seeing them appearing at the top?
If you want to disable for specific posts and pages, here’s how to do it:

Fstat,
Buttons are showing up at the top of my Book Covers portfolio even though I’ve unchecked the boxes to have them show up at all. In the Photography portfolio they’re below the photographs. And same deal with the boxes unchecked.
Thanks for any help.

Hi Rob, okay so technically that counts as a page. Can you adjust the setting here?

That *may* only affect new pages going forward; if so let us know and we’ll help you sort this out.

Oh, regarding *where* they appear on the page, I don’t think you have so much control over that without editing your theme or doing some CSS that may not work across all browsers. So I’d recommend against it.

Thanks, supernovia.
It looks like I’ve turned the marketing buttons off universally now, which I actually prefer.
As for their position, it was just confusing why they’d show up at the top of one portfolio and underneath the other. The only difference was that one is a matrix and the other’s a tiled gallery.

Yeah, that positioning is controlled by the theme in this case, so at some point the theme’s designer decided he liked the look better.
