Facebook URL Configuration

  The error message “It looks like your Facebook URL is incorrectly configured. Please check it in your widget settings” is displayed on the post new message page. It suggests going to the Widgets page but I do not see anything related to the problem. Am I missing something?

  Try re-adding the link to the desired Facebook page. Maybe you copied it wrong or you forgot the http:// in front of the link. (Let me know if you already tried this)

  I tried several times to re-add the Facebook link. It was in the process of re-adding it that I received the error message.

  I’m going to change the status of this topic to “resolved” since I do not see the error message displayed today on the New Post page though I have not made any changes to my links. It might be somewhat embarrassing to re-enter the problem if it re-occurs but would prefer that to letting it remain open and having people spend time on it.

  If you are trying to publicize to a personal profile, that is why it is not working. Publicize only works with Pages.

  I was attempting to post it to my page so that should not have been a problem. I’ll keep checking to see if the message reappears.
