Facebook widget is not working, just a white box

I’ve been using the ‘Facebook Like Box’ widget to promote my facebook page all week and its been working just fine. However all day today it is just a big white box with NO content in it.
Is anyone else having trouble with it? I didn’t do anything to the widget and it still won’t work so I just removed it.
Would love any advice on how to get it to work.

Sometimes connections come and go. In addition all widget data is cached and can take some time to update. Please confirm that the URL entered into the Facebook Like Box widget found here > Appearance > Widgets is the correct one and then wait for a few hours and see if it updates.

I found that it was a blank white box when I opened my blog with mozilla firefox, but that it worked when I opened my blog with explorer (both on a Mac). Now mine appears to be working with mozilla, so not sure what the issue was/is.

Just noticed a moment ago that it happened to my facebook like box too! I’ll see if it goes away.

Hmm, works on my Explorer but not Firefox (blank white box on Firefox. Well it shouldn’t be something major then. Hope it’ll be back to all good soo. =]

just installed this widget on http://www.twistedsilver.wordpress.com and just see a white box. Using Google Chrome. Maybe it takes a while to update?

I am going through the same problem of a white box appearing instead of my Facebook box. I have checked all the deeds you have mentioned. My URL https://www.facebook.com/mobilegameroids is correct but is not displayed in the blog.www.mobilegameroids.wordpress.com. Please help

@ashrules24: Your Like Box appears just fine, but because your site is so slow to load, it takes a while to appear. May I suggest that you split your content and actually reduce your social media icons before uploading them? (Instead, it looks like you simply changed the dimensions by setting the “width” and “height” parameters manually.)
