Facebook widget URL

    The following message is appearing twice in my blog sidebar: “It looks like your Facebook URL is incorrectly configured. Please check it in your widget settings.” I have tried checking my widget settings, but can’t seem to either figure out the problem or remove the messages (which should be for me, and not visible to visitors).

    Can you help?

    Hello there! I took a look at your site. First, let’s get ride of your extraneous installation of that Facebook widget.

    In your site’s Dashboard, click Appearance → Widgets. In your Sidebar, click the little down arrow next to one of the instances of the Facebook Like Box. When it opens, click Remove at the bottom of the box.

    So, one problem down, one to go…

    I do not see a Facebook URL in your Facebook Like Box widget. Click the down arrow to open up the remaining Facebook widget. See the URL box? That should be populated with your Facebook Page. This is a Facebook page, not your personal Facebook account. To make certain you have a Facebook page set up, please click this link:
    https://www.facebook.com/help/174987089221178

    If you’ve confirmed you have a page, you’ll want to grab the address from the address bar that appears when your Facebook page is open. Then, paste that URL in your Facebook Like Box widget. Save your changes. That should do it!
