Factory Reset WordPress
-
Whenever I install a theme, there are no components, elements, pages, menus, icons, etc.
Where are all the components that come with the theme? I have had errors with my site for some time now and would like when I install a theme or import a site, my site reflects the installation/import.
Since my site does not, I think a Factory reset will remove any old plugins and errors to allow proper installation of themes and imports. I am backed up.

Hi there,
Your site isn’t hosted with us on WordPress.com, and not using one of the themes we make. You’re using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider, and using the Evoke theme made by Matchthemes.com
That said, those things you mention don’t come with a theme.
Installing a theme simply enables the overall design. It doesn’t add any content or make any changes to your site’s settings or layout.
The only way to add content is in the post/page editor, and the only way to add a menu is from the Customizer or the Menus section in the dashboard. This has to be done manually by you – the theme doesn’t set these up for you automatically, it just controls how it will look once you finish setting it up.
If your theme has other special features, those will also need to be configured manually, usually in the Customizer, as explained in your theme’s documentation.
If you need help with a specific theme, you need to contact support for that theme directly.
General support for the open source WordPress software you’re using is provided by the WordPress.org community at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

Thank you for your detailed reply and explanation. At the time of writing, I was using the Twenty-twenty theme which only displayed, “Nothing here” and a search bar in contrast to what I found on other Youtube channels.
Their themes all showed the same content after a reset with pages and basic introduction while mine did not. Anyway, I started with the Evoke theme and did much of what you described.
I understand from yesterday that the theme is just the style and not an import of a full site with its pictures, elements, etc after checking the files and folders.

Yes, you would either need to add your content or import the demo one. Here’s an article that may help.
