Faculty Pages – what WordPress.com themes?

  Are there any highly recommended WordPress.com themes for faculty homepages (the websites that typically provide a bio & pic, list of publications, research project descriptions, lists of graduate students, courses taught)? Thanks for any advice!

  The best recommendation I could make would be to log in to WordPress.com and preview the various themes available until you find one that suits your needs. http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/

  Also, many of the newer themes allow you to customize certain elements of the theme, such as both header and background images, some have light and dark options, etc. You can read more about those here http://en.blog.wordpress.com/category/themes/
