Fail to publish posts
-
Hi,
I can access the WordPress.com website just fine but for the last few days, everytime I try to publish a post, it fails me. Does anyone have the same problem? What are the possible causes of this and how do I solve it? -
Please let us know what your browser, version and OS are. Also what specifically do you mean by it fails you. Do you get an error of some sort?

I’ve tried using IE 7 and Firefox, and both didn’t work. When I click on Publish, what appeared is just of “Internet cannot display the webpage” and “The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading” (I didn’t reset anything). I can’t save any post either.
At first I’m suspecting this could be a problem in some South-East Asian countries (I’m in Singapore), where Internet connection to some US websites has been disrupted lately due to the Taiwan earthquake which destroyed the undersea fibre optics, but I’m not sure if anyone else is sharing my problem.

Thanks for the reply.
I saw your location as well but was thinking more of you might be behind some sort of cache or proxy. I know Singapore was a few years back but I haven’t heard anything since then.
If it was the earthquake, it would be causing other issues as well.
Nothing comes to mind right off. One thing I would suggest since we’ve discussed it earlier today is double check that you’re not coming in via a https:// link. Staff disabled the secure version of teh backend right after christmas. You might be pulling an old copy of the site. Try clearing out both your browser cache and your cookies and please try again.

Hi, my problem’s been resolved. I think previously there was something wrong with the LAN connection that I used, but it’s all good now. Thanks for your help!
