Failed attachments

I saw other posts which addressed the Failed attachments error ‘Some attachments were rejected from the following WordPress.com Post by Email’ where it was said to turn off ‘Protect’ to allow attachments to come through, but that hasn’t resolved the issue for me. I’ve turned off Protect but images and PDFs, actually any and all attachments are all rejected. Is there any other place I can look to get the attachments to post with the emails? Thank you.

We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites. Our support docs do not apply to
(1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or

WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. As you are referring to a site that is not hosted here, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
