Failed attempts to change webiste

It’s simple. I am trying to change how the main page of site looks. I set Twenty Twenty-Two as the active theme. When I go to site editor, it looks nothing like the preview (I think it is the remnant of my previous attempts at editing). I went to the left menu bar, selected templates, and selected home. OK, that looks like what I want. BUT, even if I save it, the actual site still looks unchanged when I go take a look at it. I simply cannot figure out a way to edit my site’s appearance at all. It’s unintuitive and frustrating as hell.

Ok, I deleted my homepage and now the site looks like it’s meant to in terms of the theme. Unfortunately, when I view the site on another browser, the posts and pages that I make do not appear at all. It only looks correct on the browser on which I am logged onto wordpress onto.
This also raise another question, if I want to make a homepage, how do I make it look like the theme?

I am able to see the posts and pages from several browsers I checked, including the post you published today (Risk appetite and risk capacity). Are you still having trouble viewing them from your end?
This also raise another question, if I want to make a homepage, how do I make it look like the theme?
I see that you are using the Twenty Twenty Two theme, and this particular theme is designed to take advantage of creating a unique site using the customization options via the block editor. For instructions on how to set each section of the site up to your preference, you can follow the relevant links on the Twenty Twenty Two theme showcase page here:

I can restore the site to exactly how the demo looks, but I would also have to delete all current content on the site, or there may be a possibility for the current content to be duplicated.
