Failed audio
-
This is the third support request indicating the audio file, mp3, stop or do not ever work on some posts. Some work and some don’t. The recent one I posted has failed for the last few days. I tried it on Safari, Firefox and IE. All failed. IE does’nt even show the player. The MP3 is not corrupt as I can play it outside WordPress. Thank in advance for any help to correct this in the future.

Hi there!
I just visited the link you provided and I had no trouble using the audio player. Did you try disabling your browser extensions as Rachel suggested in your previous thread?
-
Yes I have and still no response with the audio player, http://thewiseguydiaries.com/2014/08/08/margaret/
I went to the same site on a PC and the audio player doesn’t even show there. That was on IE. I usually use Safari and no extensions are on.

Hi there!
Thanks for that information! Can you visit this page and let me know if you can see the audio player embedded:

Hi there,
Just to confirm, are you experiencing the same behavior when you visit the following two sites across all of your browsers?
http://testsjr1.wordpress.com/2014/08/14/audio-player-test/
Also, can you confirm that you’ve tried this on multiple internet connections to rule out a slow buffering issue?
-
Yes, As I stated, some of the sites on my main site do play an mp3 correctly. Ruling out multiple internet connections would be difficult since users purchase their internet provider and can not just switch around for testing. My home is outfitted with high speed, high speed routers, one extender and another high speed access point. Speed is checked occasionally and has alway been in the high end of measurements.

just noticed something after writing the reply. I went to LA times and wanted to watch an embedded video and when I clicked it, the arrow went away and it just sits. been sitting for 15 minutes and nothing. Coincidence?

That is a bit weird. You mentioned testing out Firefox correct? You experienced the same issue there?
Currently, the audio files on your site are working for me in Safari. I’m working with the settings to see what might cause this to fail.
