Failed category drop down list on top of the page
-
Hi,
I recently started the blog to keep track of materials. I noticed that the main categories are on top of the blog, but the subcategories most cannot appear as a drop down list if one moves the mouse over the main categories. The categories are listed fine in the sidebar section. But I would like to see a drop down list when I put my mouse over the top menu too.
Please could you suggest solution to this.
Thanks

For the top menu, you’ll need to actually construct a menu at Appearance -> Menus in your Dashboard.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I just tried, but now I have the problem of doubling categories on the page top. The original main categories are still appearing on the top, but the new added menus are on top of that too. Is there anyway to edit how the original main categories appear on the top? Thanks

I solved the problem by changing the chosen theme. It seems the original theme ‘Enterprise’ has this problem because it also lists categories on top. Others don’t.

Thanks for letting us know. I’m having a hard time replicating this problem myself. If you decide to use Enterprise again, just let us know and we can take a look into the problem for you.
