Failed Drafts

  I can’t get my drafts to save or posts to publish via mobile, for both my phone app and iPad app. When trying to save a draft I keep getting an error. It has been this way for at least a month.

  Hi vanhoose15,

  I just tested on my own mobile devices (iPhone 7 & iPad Pro 10.5”) and both were able to save drafts and publish posts. Can you provide a little more info about what devices you’re using?

  My first troubleshooting step would be to delete the app and re-download it from the App or Play Store to make sure you’re on the most recent version of the app.

  I’m using my iPhone 8+ and iPad mini 2. I’ve updated and redownloaded the app on both and it’s still not working. Everything works fine from the desktop though.

  Got it; thanks for the info! So we’ve verified that the app is up to date; are they also on the latest version of iOS? The current version is 12.1.4. You can check by going to Settings > General > Software Update.

  Also just to confirm; can you go to Settings > General > iPhone/iPad Storage and then tapping on WordPress? I would just like to know the Version Number (seen near the logo).

  Both devices are currently using IOS 12.1.4.
  Wordpress version 11.6.

  So at this point we’ve verified that the issue isn’t with with the software or hardware. Can you tell me the web address for your website? And do you subscribe to a plan through WordPress (Personal, Premium or Business)?
