Failed import?

  My import started more than 24 hours ago hasn’t completed. Does this tend to fail? The import file is ~800k which doesn’t seem too huge.

  The imports do get stuck sometimes, but staff can un-stick them. I’ll tag this thread for staff assistance and someone will be along shortly to help you.

  Ok- this is stuck again. Any tips on what will cause this to fail?

  Sounds like I have to look elsewhere for getting this working.

  How many posts, pages, and comments are you trying to import?

  Hm, that shouldn’t get stuck. What version of WordPress are you exporting from, and have you tried splitting it up into smaller imports by only choosing specific date ranges?

  Looks like it’s an older version (3.1.1). I can try to upgrade and re-export…
