  I tried importing a backup to verbal.wordpress.com and it failed to import. I received an email stating to contact support for assistance.

  I did the import through the link provided. I received an “import successful” email, but when I go to the web site, no imported posts appear. When I go to the Dashboard, I only show 1 post as being available/published.

  I’ve tried the process twice.

  Hi there.

  I tested this out on my end, and the import failed for me also. After looking into this a little further, I couldn’t see any obvious errors with your import file and am therefore going to report this back to our team so they can dig in deeper.

  Can I just confirm that you’re trying to import two files to your blog? In our records, I’m seeing one file ending in /2015/04/squarespace-wordpress-export-04-29-2015.xml. and a second ending in /verbalwordpressblog-wordpress-2015-04-29.xml.

  Yes. I think I determined what the problem may be, and corrected the exported file with a self-hosting WordPress install.

  Can you clear the import process on verbal.wordpress.com? It is not allowing me to upload a new file.
