Failed Payment order takes appointment slot

We use WooCommerce to manage appointment bookings and have a consistent issue at the moment where failed payments are still taking an appointment slot. This prevents other customers from booking until we manually move the order to trash.
Is there a way to make failed orders automatically release the appointment slot?

What is the URL of your website or what is the name of your account on the WordPress.com platform you need assistance with?
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
Therefore it depends where the website in question is hosted at the moment, to begin with.

If you’re using the WooCommerce Bookings plugin sold on WooCommerce.com, the best place to get support is at https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/
Thanks for trying to help, but where the website is hosted is irrelevant in this case, as we don’t provide support for WooCommerce, or for any other plugin, in this forum.
Also note that the WooCommerce forums where you directed the OP only provides support for the core WooCommerce plugin, not for add-ons to that plugin like the various booking plugins that exist for it.
