failed to import a blog from myopera.com

  trying to import a blog from myopera.com. i get the following error:
  Sorry, there has been an error. Please try again or contact us if problem persists.

  This does not appear to be a WXR file, missing/invalid WXR version number

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  to all those getting the error: “This does not appear to be a WXR file, WXR version number missing / invalid”

  when importing to wordpress.. its a problem with the link in the mail. go to the “Files” page of my.opera and manually download the file(of the same name) from there. this will work with wordpress

  yes, thanks..
  import worked fine.
  have an different issue with duplicate posts.. but i guess i need to fix that manually.
