Failed to import a wordpress theme, how do I retry the upload?

  I tried to upload a theme for my blog, and soon after I got an email saying that my upload had failed. My computer froze during the upload and I had to restart, so I think the files never made it through. Now the processing screen in the Import WordPress page is permanent. I can’t retry. What should I do next?

  Thanks for the help. I have another questions now, because I realized that I was doing the wrong thing.

  I’m trying to upload a theme that I bought. But when I click on Appearance>Themes there’s no “add theme” or “install theme” link/tab. How do I upload the *.zip file that has my theme in it?

  Here are the instructions I’m following:

  To install via the WP Admin Panel log in to your WP Admin Panel and click on the menu “Appearance > Themes”. Once you have clicked that, click the tab “Install Theme” right at the top of your page. Once there, just below the tabs, you’ll find the “upload” link. Click there and you’ll be redirected to a page where you’ll be able to choose a file to upload. In your download file you’ll find a folder called “WordPress” and inside it another folder and a .zip file. Select the .zip file and upload. Done.

  Uploading theme is a feature for self-hosted version of WordPress open source software, available at http://wordpress.org/ . At WordPress.com, you can choose from 120 themes that are already installed and customize them with theme options and/or CSS upgrade: http://theme.wordpress.com/

  My site is hosted by GoDaddy, and I uploaded the theme I’d like to use through my ftp in the right wp folder (according the the instructions that came with my theme). But when I go to My Account > Appearance>Theme there’s no option for installing my theme. There’s no “Add Theme” tab or anything.

  Thanks for the help btw. I’ve read the tutorials for doing this, and I’ve watched a few videos. But I’m not seeing the same options in my Appearance>Theme tab.
