Failed To Load Plugin Message Keeps Popping Up . . . Again!
-
This situation is rearing its head again. I get this message when I’m on both of my dashboards (DVD News Flash: The Reviews & Memory Movies) of my blogs: Failed to load plugin url: https://s0.wp.com/wp-content/mu-plugins/jetpack-plugin/moon/jetpack_vendor/automattic/jetpack-forms/dist/contact-form/js/tinymce-plugin-form-button.min.js
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello!
I am having the same problem as shawnfrancis – I keep getting a pink error message right across my writing field, from the description I gather it is the exact same error.
Here is my blog: https://mabelamber.wordpress.com
It really is a most annoying bug. I can click it away, but every time I open the editor, there we go again.
Can this be fixed please? I would be most grateful.

Both of my websites (bwspotlight.com and clutterreport.wordpress.com) are doing the same thing. Is the block editor having the same problem or is it just the classic editor?
-
Also experiencing this and using the Classic Editor (I refuse to use the stupid Block one)
-
Okay, I just tested the Block Editor, which I don’t use for my main blog articles but will use it for particular pages. The problem isn’t happening on the Block Editor, but after looking at the same scheduled post with the Classic Editor the article was written in the error still comes up. So it’s happening on the Classic Editor.

Same error for me multiple times now using my Chromebook. I am using Classic Editor (absolutely do NOT like the block editor). I haven’t tried all my other websites (I have more) but it continues to happen with this site:
=> https://godisinourmidst.com/
I also do not want to use Jetpack, but it seems to be forced upon me when accessing my websites via my Google Pixel 8 Pro Android phone (keeps asking me to switch, I do, then the next time it asks again) -
I’m in the same boat! Pink msg that makes Zero sense to me, and it’s annoying! I use only Classic (no blocks, no jetpacks, etc.) My site is: betterbleakblink.com.
And by the way, what happened to the “email support” listed in the benefits of paying for Starter upgrade?? This AI crap is on my last nerve. Thanks ever so much for listening

I am getting the same message, but for me it is happening at the woocommerce product page. When I go to edit a product the pink error message pops up. Very weird considering I have been editing my site for the past month with no errors. I didnt have any errors last night. I come back the next day (havent edited or touched anything) and all the sudden I have this error. I think it is mainly to do with the jetpack plugin, because my site said there was a crucial error with the jetpack plugin this morning, but now I cant get that crucial error message to show back up. Now I am only getting the error message “Failed to load plugin url: /wp-content/plugins/jetpack/jetpack_vendor/automattic/jetpack-forms/dist/contact-form/js/tinymce-plugin-form-button.min.js”
-
Also When I use the jetpack debugger tool, everything comes back OK. It seems like the problem is most likely because Jetpack was automatically updated on 5-7-24 @ 11:20 am, to version (Jetpack 13.4-beta). I am assuming that this is the problem for all of us. Unfortunately I dont see any place to restore the previous revision or even to disable auto-updates, as it is handled by my host. Hopefully this should resolve itself in the next few weeks or days.

Thanks for this post. That sounds like a reasonable reason for the error if it is affecting a lot of us and only started today. Hopefully someone from WP will see this post and deal with the error.
-
I had this happen two years ago; my old thread is still up there too. Yeah, hopefully this will either resolve itself in soon, or WP sees this thread and fixes it.

Relieved to notice I am not the only one!
I am in the “Classic Editor” camp — forgot to mention that in my first post.
The Block editor is a hopeless thing which I refuse to use (unless at gunpoint).Hopefully staff will pop in here and do some fixing.

The
failed to load plugin urlerror that was showing when trying to edit a post should not be showing any longer. Our developers were able to resolve the issue. Thanks for your patience while we worked on this! -
