Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403
-
Hi, for the past few days, some pages on my website showed “Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 ()” in the browser console when sending ajax request to the server. I have to reload the page for it to work and. Sometimes reloading the page would also not work unless I go to my Admin dashboard and clear all caches. Some other websites of mine on WordPress.com also sometimes encountered this problem. This has never happened before. Can you check again the caching mechanism. I think there is a bug going on with it.

There are no known similar issues on the wordpress.com platform. You could start clearing your browser cache and cookies, also avoid using a vpn.
The problem could also be caused by Cloudflare; I can see you are for some reason, using Cloudflare. Cloudflare is wellknown for causing this error as it thinks you are a bot

I think there is a problem with how the nonce field is being cached. In the past, the nonce field seems to not be cached, allowing check_ajax_referer() to work correctly. But now it seems to be cached and sometimes I have to reload the page to kind of refresh the nonce.
That’s why I think there is currently a problem with the caching mechanism (Maybe since the introduction of Object Cache) -
Maybe not since the introduction of Object Cache, but the problem started appearing like 1 week ago.
