failed to locate XML-RPC API

  everytime i try and connect my wordpress to my gravatar, it says ‘failed to locate XML-RPC API’ and I can’t find the XML-RPC server in settings under writing. plus when I added /xmlrpc.php to the end of my site it said ‘XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.’ any tips on how to fix this? thanks!

  Were you trying to add another site to your Gravatar account? If so, can you let us know what the URL is of the site where you’re having this problem? Once we have that information, we’ll be better able to advise.
