Failed to publish post

Hello,
I’ve been trying to do a post on my website, but when I try to schedule or publish it just gives the message ‘Publishing of post failed’.
Trying to save the draft also just prompts the message ‘Saving of draft failed’.
It worked fine when I published my last post on March 1st. Started to write my monthly post yesterday and thought it was just a passing error, but it still isn’t working today.
Any tips?

Hi there,
Please see if clearing your browser cache makes any difference. Also uplug your modem/router for a few seconds and then restart it, in case this is a problem with its connection cache.
Let us know if that doesn’t help.

Thanks for your reply – I just tried your suggestions, but the problem persists (I’m using Google Chrome btw, if that has any significance).
I just noticed that when I load up the page with the draft, I can make changes for around 10 seconds and click save, and it will save the draft. But if I make any changes after that, I get the ‘saving of draft failed’ message…

Hmm, have you tried to use a different browser? Does the issue persist then?

Hmm, that is weird.
I tried using Edge and it seemed to work alright on there (it saved the draft fine when I made changes), and when I then went back to Chrome, it seemed to work fine there as well!
Your link did show me that Chrome was out of date, so I updated that anyway.
I’ll see if it will publish it as well when I finish the post…

Well, I have just managed to publish my post from a Chrome browser, so it appears that the issue has been resolved. No idea what caused it, but as long as it works I’m happy! :D
