Failed to retrieve EPP code (aka AUTH CODE)
-
Hello,
I registered a domain with WordPress but then chose to move it to another host. I transferred the domain but failed to click on the “Get authorization code” button. The nameservers still point to wordpress, and I need to change them to the new host. Yes, I read the ‘Transfer a Domain to Another Registrar’ help article, but did so only after transferring my domain. Now, my domain is gone from WordPress, and I can’t retrieve the AUTH CODE because the domain does not appear on my dashboard. I have contacted the registrar, Hexonet, their parent company CentralNic, and both have pointed me back to Automattic.com to resolve my issue. Please help, and thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

According to https://wordpress.com/site-profiler/http://soaar2025.ca that site is in no way connected to the wordpress.com platform.
However as that domain is registered on 2024-08-02, it cannot be altered within 60 days after registration dus to ICANN-regulation.

Hi there!
As @staartmees mentioned above, it’s not possible to transfer a domain until it’s 60 days old. In the meantime, you can point it to another host using custom nameservers.
I see that you’re already using a set of custom nameservers to point the domain to another host (which is the reason our Site Profiler shows the site hosted elsewhere).
I see that you have another site hosted with us. May I ask what led you to host this particular site with a different host?
