Failed to subscribe, please contact admin.

  When i try and enter an email to subscribe to my blog newsletter which is using the mailchimp subscribe plugin – i get an error ‘Failed to subscribe, please contact admin’ – even though my mailchimp widget and account show as connected with correct API. I also added the pop up plugin which works and is successful at capturing the email subscribers. Not sure why this error is occurring and how to fix it. I show no errors logged either.

  I can not see MailChimp popup on your website bombdotmomcom.wordpress.com, so you must be working on some other website.

  I have it hosted through siteground and the website is bombdotmom.com

  As your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, the best place to get support on MailChimp plugin is to contact the plugin author.
