Failed Transfer, Extra Charge
-
I recently attempted to transfer a domain that I already own over to my wordpress account. Since it was a promotion to get on an annual plan and receive an additional year with my domain at no cost, I signed up for the personal plan.
After paying the annual fee, my transfer failed and when I attempted to try again after discovering the problem, I was being charged the $18.00 for the transfer (which was supposed to be included with the purchase of my annual plan).
I disputed this on paypal because I was not supposed to have to pay the $18.00, but now I am having to pay an additional $15.00 to use the FREE version of wordpress.
What is the best way to go about this situation? I am getting very frustrated with only being on this platform for 10 minutes.

Hi @livefitforyou, a dispute opens up a fraud investigation, which is not what happened here. It can take quite a while to resolve.
We’d be happy to either help you get the transfer to go through, or refund it if it failed.
