Failing to make a background transparent
-
Hello!
I have been trying to make a background transparent using CSS and have failed to do so. I am new to this, so my appologies for any dumb questions
I am setting up a website with a woocomerce store and I want the background of this store to be fully or parcialy transparent so it will blend with the websites general background. In the first image attached you can see I am able to colour it blue without any issues. Now, when i turn it to transparent (image 2), you would expect to see the mountains from the picture below, but instead i get a white (light grey) background.
I believe it turns transparent as it should, but i looks like there is a “hidden layer” behind or so which also has to be changed. Is this right? Any ideas how to achieve this?Link to image 1 (blue): https://ibb.co/5L38vtK
Link to image 2 (transparent): https://ibb.co/tsrRBFPIve been trying all sorts of things over the last few hours, hopefully someone can shine some light on this
Thank you!
Yarops: i’m also unsure if this is the right forum for it .com/.org, sorry
