Failure of importing Xanga blog

  I downloaded the zip file from Xanga and unzipped it according to your instructions, but the system indicated that the files i imported was not a xml files. When i checked the file type, it did xml files! How come it denied its’ file type?? This problem leads to failure of the importation…T_T

  If you’ve tried the Xanga importer, you might try switching to the WordPress importer to see if that helps. I’ve also seen some people have better luck if they tried their import in a different browser.

  Note that you must open the .zip export folder you get from Xanga and import ALL of the files included in the .zip folder individually.
