Fake blogs, spam followers

    Question: Could you please filter out some of the fake bloggers (such as GreatSkinBasics, ApplianceFurniture2020, etc.)?
    You guys do a good job filtering out fake comments, but it would nice to be free of fake followers:
    “BuyMyShit is now following your blog!” Ok I made that name up.
    Bloggers don’t want to be put in a position where they have to delete fake followers. Can you delete fake followers?

    We don’t have a way to filter them yet at this time, but the follow notification email should contain a link to their blog or specific posts on their blog.

    If their blog is spam in nature, please report it via http://en.support.wordpress.com/report-blogs/

    Once reviewed, their entire account will be shutdown.

    This also has the added benefit of determining if it really is a fake follower or a legitimate follower with a lousy name. :)
