fake news and disgusting advertising put into free wordpress blogs

    Dear WordPress, I appreciate your blog space, but lately my blog has been filled with ugly ads with fake information. I realize the need for ads to finance the site; however, it seems as though wordpress could use discrimination in ads allowed. Because my blog appears only once a month it is not worth it for me to pay $300/year to subscribe to your paid site. I ask that word press be more socially responsible about the advertising you post. Please advise

    Hi,

    According to the WordPress.com Plans & Pricing page, all of the paid plans are free of WordPress.com ads, even the Personal Plan ($5 per month).

    The Ideas forum might be more suitable for a topic such as this.
