Fake Worpress Blog Fishing for Passwords?

I was just reading this blog: [Link removed – drmike] and wanted to comment on it.
It prompt me to login on the site to be able to add a comment on this site: [Link removed – drmike]

I found that weird, because I am already logged in to wordpress, and when I tried to re-login on the site there, it didn’t recognize my wordpress name and password…

does anyone have an idea on what this might be?
Since there is also no secure connection on that login page I am feeling a bit uneasy about it…

Just to make sure I already changed my password…

Think of wordpress.com as WalMart. They use shelving to sell their items.
Think of that site as KMart. They also use shelving to sell their items.

Think of wordpress.org as the place they get their shelving from.

wordpress.com and your other site are two different “stores” who happen to use the same shelving.

    Hi,

I’m the owner of [domain removed – drmike]. Is it possible to delete this topic or at least unlink my url and/or scramble my domain name? I really don’t like how the topic of phishing is linked to our domain and possibly associated with it through Google or other search engines.

    Thanks for your consideration!

*shrug* My large commerical client (ie the one that provides all the *cough* adult content if you catch my meaning) uses wordpress quite a lot.

edit: I can’t believe they link to LonelyGirl15. That’s like linking to Manson’s blog if he has one.
