False page view stats

  I am creating a new blog and have it set to private for now. I am the only one who has seen it, and I have been logged in every time I go to it. Why does it keep showing me that I have a gazillion page views when it’s actually only me editing and reviewing the blog ? I thought that if I was logged in, my page views would not show up in my stats. When I finally do open the blog up publicly, how will I know how many REAL views (from other people) that I have? Thanks in advance. -Imani.

  Please read the stats section and note that as your is a private blog your visits are being recorded. http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/
