False Reports
-
The blog I need help with is http://xtremelust.wordpress.com/2013/05/27/instagc-scam-warning/. The owner of this blog is making false statements about the site being a scam, being hacked, and a phishing attempt. They are saying this merely because their account was temporarily closed because they joined with an inaccurate name. It is in our Terms of Service that full and valid information must be used at all times. Asking them what their real name is, is most definitely not a “phishing attempt” like they state. These results are starting to appear in search engines which is damaging my website. Thank you.

You need to report that at http://wordpress.com/abuse if I’m not mistaken. Posting in the forum has no effect.

@raincoaster, thank you. I have done that already. Hopefully they will review and take care of it appropriately.

They might require some legal documents like a court order or something, otherwise it’s your word against that blogger’s.

Yeah, had a feeling it might have to come down to that. Seems dumb for me to have to resort to all those un-needed costs, but you gotta do what you gotta do.
