False signups coming from outlook.com addresses
-
I have received probably two per day signups coming from outlook.com email addresses beginning in about January of 2018. I didn’t think anything of it as people were signing up for my blog regularly anyway.
Then I noticed that when I checked my ‘People’ pages for subscribers and email followers, there were only a couple of emails with ‘outlook.com’ email addresses. At that point I didn’t think anything of it, either. But I’ve begun saving the signup notices in my saved email folder and I have quite a few but as of today I only have two email followers with ‘outlook.com’ email addresses.
Anyone have any idea what is up with that? Is someone simply changing their email address on a daily basis to avoid being discovered or is someone trying to somehow spam me?
TIA

hi,
