false views or slams in statistics

  How can one correct false statistics?

  How can one correct false statistics?
  I apparently have false statistics for view for my blog on January 17, 2013. 1600+ views are recorded when a typical day for my blog is significantly less (5-15). I don’t know if my site was “slammed” or not, but was wondering if I could crank down those stats.

  Hi there, while it is not possible to delete stats, I’m looking into the reason for the stats spike on your blog and will get back to you once I have more information.

  Our stats system worked as designed in this case, correctly counting the clicks to your site. It occasionally happens that your stats are an evidence of a glitch elsewhere on the internet.
