Is it an image?
Uploading images https://en.support.wordpress.com/add-media/Or are you trying to link to an account page there?
Create a custom menu https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/
Add a custom link to your other site into that custom menu https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/view-all/#adding-custom-links -
I would like to display a small part of my family tree (currently saved to ancestry.co.uk) on several pages of new website but i have no idea how to do it. I cant simply put a link to ancestry.co.uk as you need an account to view a tree.

If you need an account to view a tree then we cannot help you with this. The best you can do is copy and paste it into your site provided that doing so is not a violation of the https://www.ancestry.co.uk/ Terms of Service.

The information on the tree is 100% mine. I can’t simply copy and paste the tree as it’s interactive. Do you know of a why to inser text boxes and lines therefore I could replicate the tree myself?

Hi there,
Do you know of a why to inser text boxes and lines therefore I could replicate the tree myself?
The easiest option would be as @timethief already suggested – take a screen shot of your family tree on ancestry.co.uk, and add that to your site as a regular image. You can use the HTML map-tag to make different parts of the image clickable, but that’s the closest you will get. WordPress.com is not designed for this type of interactive content. Ancestry.co.uk is.
Technically “drawing” it on your WordPress.com site is possible, but you’ll need to do it by manually coding in every line using HTML and inline CSS. Unless you are fluent in both those coding languages and know how to draw vector images in code only, you won’t be able to do it.
