Fanwood Light theme won't allow summary for feed

Hello. I am trying show just a summary of each post on the main feed of my blog. I understand this is an option under the “Settings -> Reading” however not matter how many times I select the “summary” option and save the changes, my feed remains as the full post.
Help??

I have it up on my test blog and have no issue finding the correct setting.
For each article in a feed, show
__Full text
__Summary
Are you sure your clicked “save changes”. -

Hey timethief, thanks for the quick response! I had located where the setting is to change it to summary, and have it saved. Even when I look under my settings now, the “Summary” option is selected. However, if you go to my live blog, it is still showing the full post.

Yep, I see that but as I have no issues on my blog without the CSS upgrade and as I don’t help with CSS editing, I tagged this thread to be moved there as I think the Volunteers and Staff who provide support there will be able to help you.

That setting is for your feed, not for the main posts page of your blog. To truncate posts on your blog, you can use the read-more tag:
