FAQ translation
-
I woundering if it would be possible, to have FAQ pages in diffrent languages.
At least in sweden it´s a lot of people who doesn´t understand how things work.
I could translate myself and put in my blog, but I thought though it is a Forum with FAQ it´s better to have it here.It could easily be done, I´m sure there are a lot of people across the world who could help in their language. By just translate questions mail them to you and you put them up.

it’s a good suggestion and you should send this to feedback for the wp team to take note. the feedback is only open on jan2 however.

That would be really great – we would love to have the faq in different languages and we can sort out a blog for it all.
Anything would need sending in to support and – obviously – making it clear what page it is replacing. And I’ll find out how we can get that up and get it all linked together.

Mark, I was thinking something like for i.e
The question How to move blogs
http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/12/24/how-do-i-move-between-blogs/If I translate it to swedish, I can put swe before, like
swe-how-do-i-move-between-blogs/
Then a little swedish flag links under the orginal, then swedes can se there is a translation in that topic. And a little flag for each coutry translate.
Can someone please write the mailadress to where to send translations.

support @ wordpress.com
Quite how we do it I’m not sure as that will need some internal discussion so it fits long-term with expansion and languages. But do send them and I will sort it out. -
A seperate blog might work best. I remember different language posts coming across the bottom of the Dashboard seemed to annoy many folks. Ditto on the top 100 which lead to them being seperated between languages.
