  How do you get on the “Fastest Growing Wordprees.com blogs”? What is the criteria? What is the number views per day they are getting?

  How that happens is only known to WordPress. It is not shared with anyone as that would possibly allow people to “game” the system.

  It doesn’t depend on number of views, but rather on rate of growth. Long ago in the mists of time I made that list on a blog that had been averaging 20 hits per day and went up to 120 in one day.

  I was as high as #18 on it yesterday. I’d been averaging around 50 hits/day over the previous week and yesterday I had 242. Today I had 385 but I’m not on the list.

  It’s the factor of growth, not the number of hits. So a blog getting one hit per day shooting up to 100 would make it, while another getting 1000 going up to 2000 might not. I find a lot of the “fastest-growing” blogs to be very new, not much in them. Gives newcomers some exposure, so that’s good.

  Where can you find the list? I can see the top 7 on the dashboard, but I’d like to see if my blog is anywhere.
