Fatal error
-
I tried to install the ‘Swift’ blog theme, but upon ‘activation’ the process froze and now when I try to go to my website login site (or even type in the website name) the following message appears: Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in /home1/kristal/ladyofcharity.com/wp-content/themes/swift-blog/inc/main-banner-slider.php on line 75.
So my question is: How can I login to remove the troublesome theme. Do themes carry certain bugs? And even when I login, how can I ensure this doesn’t happen to me again? I just started working on this website today! :-(.
Thank you!The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. We also don’t make any theme called Swift. We cannot help with this in the WordPress.com forums.
Please post in the forums for that theme on WordPress.org:
https://wordpress.org/support/theme/swift-blog/
You’ll likely have to delete the theme from your server directly using FTP. You’ll need to contact your hosting provider for help with that.
