Fatal error

Hi, I have a wordpress site but have not been able to make a post for around 1 year! I finally had my domain guys upgrade the security (£30!) but I still can’t make a post. When I try, I get an email from WordPress telling me to go into recovery mode and “check for any visible issues”. Checking for visible issues is not a helpful instruction. I have no idea what that means. I have made sure themes etc are updated. Any other ideas??

Hi there, let us know the address of the site you are working on so we can point you in the right direction for help.
Keep in mind that this support forum assists users of the WordPressdotcom platform. WordPressdotcom (where we are ) and WordPress are separate entities with different documentation and support forums. More information about the differences can be found here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
For help with a site using the open source WordPress software, you’ll want to head over to https://wordpress.org/support where they have more experience with the software you are using. If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register one on the top of that page.

Hello again, your site is using the open source WordPress software so you’ll want to consult with the folks who use that software at https://wordpress.org/support/ and you can try contacting your web hosting provider (fasthosts) as well for assistance.
Best wishes.
