Fatal error

  I’ve just begun building my site. I closed it out for the night and woke to find that when I attempted to access it, I received a ‘fatal error’ message. I have little to no experience with coding and am at a loss. Here are the full contents of the error message.

  Hi there,

  Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider, and as per that error message, the Jetpack plugin is causing this error.

  This is likely caused by a problem with an automatic update with the plugin. What should fix it is to log into FTP at your host and delete the Jetpack plugin folder there. Then reinstall Jetpack from scratch, and reconnect.
