    I am unable to access the backend of my website. Whenever I try to, this message shows up on the screen:

    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function yreg_estate_get_theme_option() in /home/customer/www/mlrltd.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/trx_utils/trx_utils.php:89 Stack trace: #0 /home/customer/www/mlrltd.com/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(307): trx_utils_core_frontend_scripts(”) #1 /home/customer/www/mlrltd.com/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(331): WP_Hook->apply_filters(NULL, Array) #2 /home/customer/www/mlrltd.com/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php(474): WP_Hook->do_action(Array) #3 /home/customer/www/mlrltd.com/public_html/wp-includes/script-loader.php(2105): do_action(‘wp_enqueue_scri…’) #4 /home/customer/www/mlrltd.com/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(307): wp_enqueue_scripts(”) #5 /home/customer/www/mlrltd.com/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(331): WP_Hook->apply_filters(NULL, Array) #6 /home/customer/www/mlrltd.com/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php(474): WP_Hook->do_action(Array) #7 /home/customer/www/mlrltd.com/public_html/wp-includes/general-template.php in /home/customer/www/mlrltd.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/trx_utils/trx_utils.php on line 89

    How do I fix this issue?

  • Hello, I’m sorry to hear that you have trouble with your website. However, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with GoDaddy.

    To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

    WordPress.org has complete documentation for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress.org at https://wordpress.org/support/ and support at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

    With that said, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), navigate to /wp-content/plugins/ and remove the entire /trx_utils/ directory there.

    This will remove the plugin causing the problem and should restore your site.

    Next, I recommend reporting that issue to the plugin’s support at https://themerex.net/support/
