Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate

Since I linked jetpack to my WP site, I now get the fatal error message about memory. I went to Jetpack and unlinked jetpack, but it has not fixed the issue. I can no longer edit my webpage in WordPress.

That site is not hosted by WordPress.COM. Our support docs do not apply to it and you are posting to the wrong support forum.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG and need support for that site in the future and if you do not have a WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.

WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_PageSome JetPack solutions are here http://jetpack.me/support/
Others are in the JetPack support forum at WordPress.org

However, if you can’t find help at either one then you can file a JetPack support ticket here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-service -
Since running updates to my website, I have gotten a fatal error message about memory. How do I go about fixing this problem? Can someone in support help me?
