fatal error: cannot redeclare has_shortcode()……..
-
This is Carriagehouseconsign.com and we have opened the blog so we can ask for help. We had our password saved in the system because the lady who set it up left the business and would not give us access. We were going into the system to change the password and wordpress requested an update. We hit update and then got the following error:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare has_shortcode() (previously declared in /home/carriagh/public_html/wp-includes/shortcodes.php:157) in /home/carriagh/public_html/wp-content/themes/higher/functions.php on line 1892
Unfortunately that knocked us out of the website and we can’t get back in through wordpress because we don’t have the pw. Our site has been down now for 4 days and I’m getting nowhere trying to manage it myself…………please help.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This is the WordPress.COM support forum. Here we provide support only for blogs hosted by WordPress.com
You need to post to the WordPress.ORG support forum for help with your site because it is not hosted by WordPress.COM.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
