Fatal error: Cannot redeclare icl_st_init() — HELP?

  Hi,

  I am the admin of a work website, and it gives me this error:
  Fatal error: Cannot redeclare icl_st_init() in /home/lesateli/public_html/LATMontreal.dance/wp-content/plugins/wpml-string-translation/inc/functions.php on line 20

  Can someone help me and tell me what the error is and how I can fix it?

  It sounds like there’s an error in your translation plugin. We can’t help with that error here since it’s not a WordPress.com site, but try posting in the support forum for your specific plugin or in the general support forums over on WordPress.org:

  Thank you! I am not sure what our translation plug-in is, as our graphic designer is no longer with us — is there a way to find out? And how can I deactivate it — can I not do this separately, so that at least the website is functional?

  You should see all of your plugins listed in the “Plugins” section of your dashboard:

  https://codex.wordpress.org/Plugins

  Based on the folder name, it might be related to this:

  WPML String Translation

  Unfortunately, I don’t have a lot of experience with translation plugins. The WordPress.org community can definitely help though. :)

  I cannot log in to my dashboard – I’ve tried and it gives me the same error (login page does not show up). Therefore I am left with the forums.
