I performed an upgrade last night on my Google plug in thru WordPress and now I am getting this message

Fatal error: Class ‘apiAuth’ not found in /home3/ivybug77/public_html/wp-content/plugins/google/lib/external/google/auth/apiAuthNone.php on line 24

Please help my site is completely down and I need to get on it. Thanks!

  • It looks like you are in the wrong forum — this forum is for help with WordPress.COM blogs, but your site is a self-hosted WordPress(.org) site. The forum for that can be found here: http://wordpress.org/support/

More on the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Specific to your problem — you should disable the Google plugin. Log into your site using FTP, navigate to the directory wp-content/plugins and rename the “google” directory to something else. That should get your site back up.
