Fatal error on site
-
I received the following email saying to contact my host provider for further investigation of this issue. I have gotten this email multiple days in a row saying that my backup failed because of it. I would like to resolve it so I have safe and secure backups of my site.
‘Howdy!
Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.
In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Jetpack by WordPress.com.
First, visit your website (http://wholesomeappetites.com/) and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught (http://wholesomeappetites.com/wp-cron.php?doing_wp_cron=1614713895.5040810108184814453125) and check for any visible issues.
Please contact your host for assistance with investigating this issue further.
If your site appears broken and you can’t access your dashboard normally, WordPress now has a special ‘recovery mode’. This lets you safely login to your dashboard and investigate further.
To keep your site safe, this link will expire in 1 day. Don’t worry about that, though: a new link will be emailed to you if the error occurs again after it expires.
When seeking help with this issue, you may be asked for some of the following information:
WordPress version 5.6.1
Current theme: Cookely (version 1.1.0)
Current plugin: Jetpack by WordPress.com (version 9.5)
PHP version 7.3.27′ -
Hi @wholesomeappetites, these forums are actually for the sites hosted here at WordPress.com. Our setup is a bit different:
For this error, honestly I’d recommend making sure you’ve got a backup with your host, then reinstalling Jetpack. If you need more help, ask your host if there are error logs, then reach out in the sub-forum for Jetpack here:
