Fatal Error on Site – need help with next steps

  • Unknown's avatar

Hello! I’m hoping for help in resolving this error when I tried to access my website:

‘Fatal error: Composer detected issues in your platform: Your Composer dependencies require a PHP version ‘>= 7.2.5′. You are running 7.1.14. in /home2/wajycw0aev6q/public_html/wp-content/plugins/mojo-marketplace-wp-plugin/vendor/composer/platform_check.php on line 24.’

Unfortunately I can’t log into the dashboard at all given the error, so any help with updating this code/work-arounds would be much appreciated! Thank you!

    Hi there!

Can you let us know what the URL is of the site where you’re having this problem? Once we have that information, we’ll be better able to advise.

NOTE: We can only assist with websites hosted here at WordPress.com. If you’re using the WordPress software, but hosted elsewhere, you will need to reach out to your hosting provider or the WordPress.org community for guidance:

    Thank you!

Hello! Thank you so much! The URL is: https://www.mysaferx.org/. It is hosted on WordPress.

While your site is using the WordPress software, it’s not hosted here at WordPress.com.

Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.

You can find more information here about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

The WordPress.org forums are a great resource for sites using the open source WordPress.org software, and you can find support for that at: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting

You can also reach out to your host for help with this. Since they’re hosting your site’s files, they also have access to those files and could also be able to help you here.

Thank you very much for this helpful information! I will review the forums as you suggest.

One final question: how can we know who our specific site host is without being able to log into the website backend?

  • Your hosting provider is whomever you pay monthly or yearly to host your site.

mysaferx.org no longer appears to be a registered domain, so I won’t be able to check on that for you. Was that perhaps a typo?
