I updated 1-2 plugins and the site is now returning an error. Text of the error posted below. I tried going to the dashboard to fix this but can’t access that either. Any assistance appreciated.

    Hi there,

I can see your site is not hosted on WordPress.com and uses open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) and this forum is focused on sites hosted on WordPress.com.

The WordPress.com and WordPress.org sites are completely different: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org

You can also look at the troubleshooting guide here:  https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting

In addition, you might want to consider posting your question at WordPress.org’s support forum, where people are familiar with such problems and can help you in a more efficient manner: https://wordpress.org/support/forums

    Hope this helps! :)
